Responsibilities

This is a challenging and varied role in which every day will be different, some of the tasks and responsibilities you can expect to be involved in include:

  • Following up on organically generated leads and discussing customer requirements to qualify potential customers for site visits and surveys.
  • Actively seek out and identify new business opportunities in the renewable energy and agriculture sectors.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Drive the sales process from initial prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy and/or agriculture sector.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, agricultural practices, and related products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.
  • A track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
  • You must be enthusiastic and keen to make your mark in a growing industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
